Beef Burritos / Tacos

What’s awesome about this recipe is that it’s easy and leaves a ton of leftovers that taste just as good reheated.

Prep: 10 minutes

Cook: 5-10 minutes

Makes 4-6 servings

  • 1-1.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp each dry rosemary, ground cumin, black pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire or steak sauce
  • Toppings: shredded cheddar, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, beans, salsa, whatever you like
  • flour or corn tortillas, salad greens
  1.   Brown meat in a large pan
  2. Add onion and saute briefly
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except toppings, cover, reduce heat, and cook for approximately 5-10 minutes
  4. Serve in a toasted tortilla or over greens as a taco salad.  EAT!
  5. Store the seasoned beef in a Tupperware, glass, or ceramic container in your fridge.  To reheat, just take out whatever you’re going to eat and microwave it.
